"ŐHUVÄGI" ("Air Force"). Golden fringe,

According to the French Navy Album, issue 2000 [pay00] - Aircraft Marking -
Trinagular "roundel" of blue-black-white.

Estonian was first formed in 1918 as Lennuvae Rugement and
renamed in 1925 to Eesti Lennuvagi and In 1928 to Eesti Ohukaitse
until it was dissolved in 1940 and re-arranged in 1991 as Eesti
Ohuvägi (homepage at <www.mil.ee>).
Same roundel is used since its begining and it was readopted in
1991: triangle in national colors. Rudder stripes in national
colors are now fin flash. Above we show the triangle points up,
however, <www.skytamer.com/estonia/01.htm>
and <www.skytamer.com/estonia/03.htm>
show it point down and [cos98]
show it point backwards as it is on the planes.
For those who are interested, there are two articles in Insignia:
Estonian Air
Force 1918-40 and The DH9 in Estonian
Military Service.
