Aircraft Marking

According to the French Navy Album, issue 2000 [pay00] - Aircraft Marking - Trinagular "roundel" of blue-black-white.
Željko Heimer, 24 August 2001

Estonian was first formed in 1918 as Lennuvae Rugement and renamed in 1925 to Eesti Lennuvagi and In 1928 to Eesti Ohukaitse until it was dissolved in 1940 and re-arranged in 1991 as Eesti Ohuvägi (homepage at <www.mil.ee>).
Same roundel is used since its begining and it was readopted in 1991: triangle in national colors. Rudder stripes in national colors are now fin flash. Above we show the triangle points up, however, <www.skytamer.com/estonia/01.htm> and <www.skytamer.com/estonia/03.htm> show it point down and [cos98] show it point backwards as it is on the planes.
For those who are interested, there are two articles in Insignia: Estonian Air Force 1918-40 and The DH9 in Estonian Military Service.
